The Making
Scattered, broken particles
must be remade
after life on earth snaps,
crushes each bone, sinew, organ
into first-born
molecules
Dust catches in throat
chokes irrelevancy
Smeared ashes
reconstruct
into wooden cross beams
unmade – made – remade
